Smoke Alarm Installations play a vital role in keeping your home and family safe in the event of an emergency. The current regulations stipulate that with smoke alarm installations there must be a minimum of 1 smoke alarm on each level of a house and depending on the size and layout, more are often recommended.
Fire or Smoke Alarm Installations are only helpful if they’re in full working order. This means no annoying beeping and certainly no disconnected units. We recommend you test your units monthly and to have them tested by an electrician once per year. All smoke alarms (including hard-wired) have a maximum life of 10 years as the sensors that detect smoke degrade over time.
